Many people going through modern-day therapy hit the same wall: they feel blocked, low on energy, and stuck in place no matter what they try. In a FroximunWorld webinar, physician and medical journalist Marcus Stanton explained why this happens so often, and what he has found, after more than 20 years of clinical practice, actually helps patients move forward again.
Stanton often works with patients other doctors have struggled to help. His approach starts at a mechanism level rather than chasing individual symptoms one by one. In his view, one substance in particular has become a foundational part of that approach: Toxaprevent, a medical device based on activated natural clinoptilolite, a type of volcanic mineral also known by its abbreviation MANC.
What Toxaprevent is and how it works
Toxaprevent works as an adsorber. Its porous surface binds certain substances, including heavy metals, aluminium and histamine, and holds onto them irreversibly once they are caught. According to Stanton, the mineral is selective: it targets these unwanted substances rather than the physiological elements the body actually needs, which is part of what makes it comfortable to use daily.
Because the particles are too large to pass through the gut wall, Toxaprevent itself stays in the digestive tract and leaves the body naturally with stool, together with whatever it has bound along the way. Stanton compared it to a garbage truck parked right outside your window: whenever there is something to get rid of, it is simply carried away, and a new truck is always there the next time you need it.
Supporting a calmer, more balanced gut
A recurring theme in Stanton’s talk was the gut wall and how sensitive it can be to everyday stress from processed food, environmental toxins and other irritants. He described a calm, intact gut lining as closely linked to a more balanced immune system and, over time, to feeling more energetic and less reactive to certain foods.
Histamine featured heavily in this picture as well. Stanton explained that lower histamine levels in the gut tend to go hand in hand with a calmer overall system, and that binding excess histamine is one of the properties he values most in Toxaprevent. He was careful to frame this as one part of a broader picture rather than a fix for any single condition, and stressed that any therapy should stay individualised and be discussed with a treating doctor.
Stanton also pointed to the liver as an often-overlooked part of this picture. In his experience, when fewer toxins reach the gut wall in the first place, there is simply less for the liver to process later on, which he sees as a meaningful form of everyday relief for an organ that already does a great deal of work.
Using it as part of a daily routine
Stanton uses Toxaprevent in a few different forms, depending on where support is needed. The powder, stirred into water, has contact with the mouth, oesophagus, stomach and gut along the way, while the capsules open further down, closer to the small intestine. For skin that is irritated, he also described a topical powder that can be applied directly to the affected area.
In his own practice, Stanton builds this into a simple daily habit, taken first thing in the morning and again before bed, so it never overlaps with mealtimes. As with any medical device, the exact amount and duration should follow the product packaging and, ideally, a conversation with a healthcare professional who knows your individual situation.
What comes through clearly in Stanton’s talk is that he sees Toxaprevent less as a stand-alone remedy and more as a foundation that other therapies can build on. As he put it, opening up these basic pathways tends to make everything else „run at the same time“ and easier to achieve.
